Poutine, arguably Québec’s most renowned signature dish, has a week all its own, during which classic French fries and gravy topped with cheese curds are remixed and reinvented in various Montréal eateries.
For this special commission, Anishinaabe-French artist Caroline Monnet created a monumental photographic group portrait featuring eight Indigenous women and a child posing in an enchanted forest.
