1- BOSSA
Google 4,8 Stars  (1,6 K Reviews)

At BOSSA, we’re more than just a delicious takeout and catering hub, more than a specialty products grocery store, and more than a morning coffee pit stop. We’re a community. A family. And we always take care of our family!
Located right in the heart of Verdun and Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie, our passion and priority is serving you the very best, and ensuring your satisfaction with both our products and service.
From a very young age, it was incredibly clear that Daniel had a passion for food. He was always in the midst of it – whether he was helping his grandparents cook meals in their kitchen, crushing tomatoes seasonally to prepare jars upon jars of Sunday sauce, or in his parents’ kitchen, spatula in hand, trying to cook up a storm while barely reaching the stove at just 8 years old and 4 feet tall. Sure, his mere determination to immerse himself into the culinary world at such a young age was impressive to those around him, but even more impressive was the fact that his meals were actually delicious.
Flash-forward to today and Daniel is running BOSSA’s kitchen, creating his very own recipes and dishes, and sharing them within his Montreal community – with his family, with you.

3- Wilensky's Light Lunch Inc
Google 4,7 Stars (1,2 K Reviews)

Wilensky’s Light Lunch has not changed much since it opened in 1932. It is still owned by the Wilensky family, has much of the original decor and even some customers dating back to our first location! Many still remember Moe Wilensky, his wife Ruth, and their son Bernard who worked many years to make Wilensky’s what it is today.

When people walk into Wilensky’s for the first time, our pressed tin ceiling, Kik Cola clock, ring-up cash register, old fashioned soda fountain and seventy-plus-year old grills might make them think they have stepped into a time-warp, or at the very least, a museum. We do still serve food, however, and Asher Wilensky, Sharon Wilensky, Asher’s daughter Alisa, long-time employees Paul Sheffer and Scott Druzin are waiting to take your order.

We are famous for our “Wilensky's Special®”. Invented by Moe Wilensky, its beauty is in its simplicity: all-beef salami with all-beef baloney grilled to mouth-watering perfection on a tasty roll with a hint of mustard. And it’s served piping hot and lightning fast!
When ordering a Special, you should know a thing or two. It is always served with mustard; it is never cut for you. Don’t ask us why; just understand that this is nothing new.
This is the way that it’s been done since 1932.

4- Arepera
Google  4,6  Stars (2,9 K Reviews)

Arepera du Plateau was born in 2011 in a small restaurant on Duluth St. in the Plateau Mont-Royal area in Montreal.  In 2018, we moved to a bigger place on Prince-Arthur, to better accommodate our customers.
Arepas
In Venezuela, an arepera is a place that sells arepas.  An arepa is a traditional Venezuelan/Colombian hand-made 100% corn, gluten-free bread. It's served like a sandwich, with various fillings which include beef, chicken, pork, fish, vegetables, or cheese.
Plato de pabellón
In Venezuela, we also have a traditional dish: plato de pabellón.  It is a plate served with rice, black beans, plantains, and shredded beef in tomato sauce.  In our restaurant, we serve "plato de pabellón", but the beef can be replaced with other fillings.

5- Snowdon Deli
Google 4,6   Stars (1,3 K Reviews)

In 1946, upon returning from the war, Abe and Joe Morantz started up a Deli. This seemed to be a good plan seeing as their sister, Pearl and her husband Ben Ash had their own successful deli on Van Horne.
Two years later, their brother, Phil, joined the business, and the three brothers began what is now a long lasting tradition: the Snowdon Deli. After many great years it came time for them pass their knowledge and expertise along to a younger generation in order to continue what they had started. John Agelopoulos, who had worked by their side for over 40-years partnered up with Abe's son Ian to carry on the Snowdon Deli tradition.
Today, the younger generations take pride in keeping it alive; Ian and John's daughter Sophy and her husband Yanni and  Phil’s grandson, Hart proudly make up the Snowdon Deli family. From one generation to the next, Snowdon Deli takes pride in being not just a tradition, but your tradition for generations to come. From the Snowdon Deli family to yours, we thank you.
