Founded in 2009, the first Café Névé branch was opened on Rachel Street in the small Portuguese neighborhood of Plateau Montréal. This first café is the realization of the shared dream of young professional barista Luke Spicer and Montreal entrepreneur François Larose. With a meager budget and after months of sleepless nights, the duo built Névé. Their vision? Providing the Plateau community with a welcoming space to enjoy excellent third wave coffee at a good price.
