Fun Events for Halloween 2019
Only a couple of weeks left until Halloween! Not sure what to do? Fear not (save that for later). There are plenty of ghoulish and glamorous events taking place in the city. From spine-chilling haunted houses to extravagant parties, your only task is to choose which ones you want to attend. Put together your best costume and you’re ready for some freakishly festive activities!
Fright Fest at LaRonde
Every weekend in October, LaRonde turns into a gruesome, Halloween-themed amusement park. Zombies and ghouls will be taking over the area, so you better watch your back! You can enjoy the thrills and activities with your family and friends during the day, then come back at night for an even more frightening experience! There are plenty of spooky attractions and scare zones located throughout the park. This year, they are offering two new events. First, they are doing a 30-hour coffin challenge where six participants will be chosen to spend 30 hours in a coffin from October 12 at 11:00 AM until October 13, 5:00 PM. Don’t worry, you’re allowed bathroom breaks every 2 hours and you can also bring a friend, but be warned – when the park closes you’re on your own! The winner will receive $600, 2 2020 Gold Season passes, 2 Basic Dining passes, and 2 Haunted House passes. The second event, called Bal de la Frayeur, takes place on November 1st from 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM. The park will transform into a graveyard and will be infested with spooky creatures strolling around the park. Guests will be able to ride the attractions in the dark and dance away to the DJ’s music. Tickets cost $46.99 and you must be at least 16 years old to attend. Get your costume ready and head out for a month of scares and entertainment!
